House Rules

The House Rules can be consulted on the home page www.hyve.ch at any time. As soon as you enter Hyve, this indicates your tacit acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions and the House Rules.

Every guest will receive a key to the rental property/room card. If the key/card is lost, the guest must pay for it immediately: ordering a replacement key costs at least CHF 10.00 plus VAT. Changing the lock cylinder costs at least CHF 350.00 plus VAT. The guest must pay this sum immediately. The guest will only regain access to the rental property once he/she has paid.

Quiet time: Quiet time must be observed between 10.00 p.m. and 7.00 a.m. During the quiet time, no noise must be made of a decibel level which disturbs others. All guests must be considerate of the personality and property of the other guests. Theft, damage to property, harassment, failure to adhere to the House Rules or violent behaviour may lead to immediate termination.

All of the rooms at Hyve are smoke-free. Smoking within the rental property is strictly forbidden. All contraventions of this ban will lead to the guest being invoiced for repairs (flat fee of CHF 800.00 plus VAT). This must be paid immediately.

No visitors or animals are allowed onto Hyve property.

Food must not be stored or consumed in rooms; the guest kitchen or lounge are available for this purpose.

All guests are responsible for preventing fires. If the fire alarm is set off due to negligence, the costs will be charged to the person responsible. The guest will be required to pay CHF 2,000.00 immediately for the attendance of the fire brigade as well as compensation for inconvenience caused to Hyve GmbH of CHF 500.00.

It is strictly forbidden to consume drugs on the premises. Guests who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be immediately expelled from the property. We work directly with the police and reserve the right to involve them.

It is strictly forbidden to use the rental property for commercial purposes. In particular, it is strictly forbidden to use the premises to receive customers. Any misconduct will lead to immediate expulsion and a ban from the establishment. All such incidents will be reported.

All guests are responsible for the cleanliness of their own rental property. Failure to adhere to this will result in expulsion.

Smoking in the rental properties is expressly forbidden. (see point 1.4) The condition of the rental property must not be modified. This means that all surfaces (walls, floor, ceiling, door) must not be modified with drill holes, stickers or other permanent fittings.

The rental property may be accessed by Hyve employees and their subcontractors (cleaning/maintenance/security) at all times.

Guests are forbidden from washing their garments in the sink or shower and hanging washed garments up to dry on the backs of chairs, radiators or windows. Cooking in bedrooms is also forbidden.

Use the washing machines and dryers according to the corresponding user manuals. Cleaning and ironing utensils which belong to the establishment must be returned as they were found. Use of the laundry room will incur a charge and must be booked in advance.

The guest has no right to make use of the stay which has already been paid for if the guest has been expelled by Hyve GmbH as a result of a breach of the House Rules or the Terms & Conditions.
